Weather protection: Not designed for applications where exposed to weather.
The lock is designed for residential entry doors within sheltered applications where the lock exposure to outdoor elements is minimised. For homes located near the coast, we recommend installing your lock in areas less exposed to direct wind and salt spray. Positioning it under a sheltered porch or using a weather guard can help minimize direct exposure to the elements. To keep your lock in optimal condition, we advise occasionally wiping it with a damp cloth to remove any salt build-up. This will help maintain its appearance and long-term performance.

The Yale Libi® Keyed Digital lock is powered with four AA battery. If your battery runs flat, you will still be able to use your mechanical key to open the door. When the battery is low, the lock will sound 10 times and flash red 10 times on the keypad. To perform a factory reset on your unit, remove the battery cover and hold down the reset button for 5 seconds once you hear 3 long beeps. You can use a small pin or the provided allen key to reach the reset button.

Entry Codes must consist of 4 to 10 digits in length to register and up to 70 user codes can be saved. User codes must also be entered within 5 seconds (while the touchscreen is active) or the process will have to be restarted.
