Features and specifications of products described or depicted on the Site, or available for purchase through the Site (including, without limitation, prices of Products displayed on the Site and any delivery or other charges) are subject to change without notice. All dimensions mentioned are approximate. All images on our website are for reference purposes only.

If you are unsure as to whether an item will suit your needs or not, please contact us before purchasing. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the item will suit their needs and an verbal advice given by The Keyless Store should be followed up by further research and due diligence by the customer.

The Keyless Store may at any time revise the Terms and Conditions by updating this web page without prior notice to you, in which case the Terms and Conditions as modified will apply to you from the date of modification. You should periodically visit this page to review the current Terms and Conditions.

The Keyless Store assumes no responsibility, and shall not be liable, for any damage to, or viruses that may infect, your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, or use of the Site. The Keyless Store also assumes no responsibility, and shall not be liable, for any interruptions or errors in access to the Site or the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, security or reliability of any communications (including, without limitation, any transactions) made through or in relation to the Site.

The Keyless Store shall not be liable for any delay or failure in its performance caused by or resulting from acts of God, fire, flood, accident, riot, war, government intervention, embargoes, strikes, labour difficulties, equipment failures, or any other causes beyond its reasonable control.

Sales

The Keyless Store reserves the right to accept or reject your Order for any reason, including, without limitation, an error in your order or in the material on the Site, or the unavailability of the Product.

The Site may refer to Products that are generally available for purchase in New Zealand. A reference to Products on the Site does not imply or warrant that the Products will be available at any time. You should check with us for the availability of specific products and services.

Title and risk of loss or damage to the Products shall pass to you on the physical delivery of the Products to the address identified by you.

Prices for items on an order are fixed once your order has been accepted. Subsequent price changes either up or down will not be retroactively applied to accepted orders.

Price

The currency used in The Keyless Store website is New Zealand Dollar. All prices in our web store are GST inclusive. 

Unless otherwise specified, all prices quoted or published on website do not include freight, handling or insurance costs. These will show separately on official The Keyless Store invoices. Shipping is free for orders over $150 (excluding trade order). 

Payment

Our standard payment term is for PAYMENT ON COMPLETION unless otherwise agreed and we gladly accept cash or Eftpos. Due to high charges we must charge an extra 3% for credit card payments via Eftpos. There is no credit card surcharge for any online orders (via web store). 

Payment by any type of bank transfer will not be considered payment until the payment has been fully cleared into The Keyless Store's bank account.

 

Retention of Title

All goods remain the property of The Keyless Store until payment in full is received.

Warranty Policy

Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply. CGA will not apply if the products or services will be used for commercial or business purposes.

- Digital door locks are designed and manufactured to assure personal safety. Improper use can result in personal damage or property loss. All safety and operating instructions should be read before the product is operated.

- The Keyless Store products are warranted for a period of one (1), two (2) year (Alpha, Hafele, Schlage & Samsung products) or three (3) year (Yale) from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. All other products come with 1-year warranty from date of purchase. Warranty claims are to be fulfilled by The Keyless Store through the local distributor/Manufacturer. Any software or smart phone App-related enquiry/support will be actioned by The Keyless Store through the local distributor or manufacturer.

    This Warranty does not cover:

• Incorrect operation or abusive use of the product, including physical abuse.
• Improper installation or failure to follow fitting instructions.
• Fair wear and tear.
• Fire, water (liquid spillage or ingression), theft, vermin or insect infestation.
• Incorrect voltage or non-authorised electrical connections.
• Any modification or use of replacement parts other than authorised parts.
• Indirect or consequential loss or damage.
• Cost of removal and/or replacement.
• Cost of freight and/or traveling time, unless stated otherwise.
• Damage to or deterioration of plated finishes (soft finishes) or finishes exposed to a corrosive environment. As deterioration is possible under some environmental conditions.
• If the product is installed in an outdoor setting without cover, in direct contact with rain and harsh weather conditions.

- In the event of a repair being required within the warranty period, the product will be repaired without charge on the condition that:

• The purchaser provides the original invoice.
• The product has been used in strict accordance with the Operating Instructions supplied with the product, and has been operated under normal conditions.
• The repairs are not required as a result of wear and tear, deterioration of plated finish or as a result of accident, misuse, neglect, or abuse of the product.

- This warranty will not cover the situation where you are locked out without the emergency key (if applicable).

- We do not have repair facilities or may not be able to repair all lock models. Parts may not be always available for repair purposes. 

- Unless otherwise specified all repairs /replacements carry a 60 day parts warranty from the date of installation. Where the product has a balance of a warranty remaining, the greater of 60 days or the balance of the warranty applies.

- All visits (on-site support is only available in Auckland urban area) for repair or replacement out of warranty will incur a call-out fee. The call-out fee does not include labour or materials.
