Yale Unity Slim - Factory Reset Without Removing the Lock

Yale has just introduced an improvement to the Unity® Slim Smart Lock that makes factory resets easier and more convenient.

Customers with a lock running Firmware V1.8.0 or later can now perform a factory reset without removing the lock from the door, significantly simplifying the process. This enhancement is available to app-connected users who can update their lock firmware through the Yale Home app.

Important: Existing installed locks require Firmware V1.8.0 or later to use the new factory reset method. Connect your lock to the Yale Home app and follow the in-app prompts to update the firmware.
